For over six years, Hotmath has successfully been helping students complete and comprehend their math homework. The addition of video lessons will offer another avenue for Hotmath to help students in middle school, high school, and college math classes better understand their math homework.
The nearly 1,000 video lessons feature Dr. Edward Burger, Professor of Mathematics at Williams College, teaching and explaining homework topics related to Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Trigonometry, College Algebra, and Calculus. Dr. Edward Burger graduated in 1985, Summa Cum Laude, from Connecticut College and received his Ph. D. from the University of Texas in Mathematics in 1990. He is presently a Professor of Mathematics at Williams College, where he is the Chair of the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, and a Member of the Board of Trustees of the Educational Advancement Foundation. Burger offers a fun, light-hearted, and enthusiastic approach to math. During the video lessons, he explains his methods of working through the math problems, and offers anecdotes to remember mathematics rules.
