Mixed Expressions and Complex Fractions
Mixed expressions are "almost" rational expressions. They are fractions
where the numerator and/or denominator includes a fraction.
You can use the simplification techniques discussed earlier to manipulate
these expressions into rational ones.
Example:
Simplify:
First, rewrite the denominator as a single rational expression.
Now rewrite as multiplication.
This product will be a rational expression.
